As many of you probably already know, I will be moving on to become Regional Vice-Chancellor for Academic Affairs at the University of South Florida, Saint Petersburg. Dr Becky Rutherfoord will be taking over as interim dean, and Dr Svetlana Peltsverger will be taking over from Dr Rutherfoord as chair of the Department of Information Technology.
At the same time, Dr Hassan Pournaghshsband will, at his own request, return to faculty and step down as chair of the Department of Computer Science and Software Engineering. Dr Jon Preston will take over.
On a personal note, I wanted to thank all of you for the last seven years. I have learned a lot and I am proud of the achievements of the CSE students, faculty and staff. It has been a good seven years.
